Lunchtime filler is a winner
“This place is a jewel in the heart of Milnathort. Lovely menu, always fresh home made soups available along with great Paninis and fresh side salad. The staff always warm and welcoming.”

Worth the drive
“We went fishing on Loch Leven and wanted somewhere for lunch, given the poor reviews of the Bistro by the Loch place, we drove to here and enjoyed a great lunch and excellent friendly service.”

Awesome place
“We stopped here as part of our john o’Groats to lands end charitable cycle. The atmosphere was great, the place is decorated really well and the staff were attentive. We had the full cooked breakfast which was great and the coffee was also great. Overall I’d highly recommend!”

Fresh scones straight out of the oven
“We have been before and never been disappointed… The scones appeared straight from the oven with that glorious smell rising from them… The quality in this shop is outstanding and whoever is doing their baking knows their business. There is a good range of and sticky buns cakes and the usual Baguettes and Paninis with a few specials on the board it will not take you long to become a regular here.”

Fantastic experience
“I was in for my first visit with a friend yesterday and I have to say I was fully satisfied with my dining experience. I am a very fussy eater myself and it was nice to see such a variety on the menu. I ended up having the lunch time filler – lentil soup and a toastie which came on a large round plate with the soup in a mug, toastie on the side, with a side salad and crisps. I was so happy to see lentil soup on the menu as it is one of my favourites and it was by far one of the best soups I have had. I then couldn’t resist to try out the delicious cakes! The orange drizzle cake was fantastic and the fruity fudge traybake and rocky road went down a treat at home! Excellent value for money and I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family! Service was good and quick too!”

Just wonderful
“Had lunch here with my Mum recently. We had a great table at the window and the place has a lovely feel about it. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I had a mango chicken wrap and my Mum had chicken tikka sandwiches. Both were delicious. My cafe latte was particularly delicious. Very reasonably priced too. I could have sat here all day. Love the big windows to watch the world go by.”

Afternoon tea
“Got a two for one voucher for afternoon tea. The service and food was EXCELLENT!. All the food freshly made and the scones lovely and warm. The only negative is proper whipped cream with the scones would be better. Many thanks see you all soon.”

Heavenly scrumptious
“Dropped in this morning for a mini breakfast , a good measure of quality is the sausage, great flavour and moist with bacon that was not to salty, fried egg and beans and toast all done to perfection ….I am glad I took the mini as I saw a full breakfast being served and I doubt if I could have finished it there was so much on the plate! My partner had fresh pancakes and maple syrup straight from the griddle they just do not come better than that. this is the third time we have visited and are very taken with the place . The range and choice on the menu is far in excess of any other local café for miles. We were served by a pleasant young man and were not kept waiting this Café is going places and I believe the management have other establishments .They are on the up and with this quality I can see them opening more.”

Great food
“One of the best things about this restaurant is the lack of cooking smells! All too often I’ve had a great breakfast, but everyone I’ve met for the rest of the day has been able to smell it on my clothes. Heaven Scent is just not like that. We had excellent service. Good Food. Comfy seats. Bright surroundings. Just excellent. The restaurant is easily reached heading north on the M90 by coming off at J6 & returning on J7. Heading south – come off J7 & return on J6. The restaurant is easily found near the main crossroads.”

A fabulous surprise – we’ll be back
“Happened across this cafe by chance. It was very busy but by shifting a table they very helpfully found room for us. Parsnip & sweet potato soup with a savoury scone was delicious. There was an amazing range of what to have with soup – not just bread. My other half had a mini breakfast and said it was one of the best he’d had – good quality ingredients. Somehow he also managed to squeeze down a huge piece of chocolate cola cake with ice-cream! (-see picture) I pinched a taste just so I could add to this review – it was yummy! Coffee was very good quality and I am fussy about my coffee. We saw a table being served with afternoon tea – Wow! Looked good!! Atmosphere and service were great, despite it being busy. Loved all the wee touches – jam served in tiny Kilner jars, milk in mini milk bottle, teapots with individual cheerful tea cosies…etc….etc It is not at all far off the motorway and we will definitely make a point of stopping if travelling past – it’ll sure beat the Service Station. If you are in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend it to you.

Great service and great food
“We discovered Heaven Scent on a trip to T in the Park and now always make an effort to visit if we are travelling past. You will always get a warm welcome at Heaven Scent. Food is great (can especially recommend the lentil soup), and the coffee is lovely too. Heaven Scent is well worth the detour from Kinross Services.”

Lovely cafe, good atmosphere, tasty food
“I popped in here on Saturday with my boyfriend after driving past and deciding it looked a nice place to eat ! We were right! My partner had a cooked breakfast and I had the yummy goats cheese salad. We both really enjoyed them, and would return again if we’re in the area.”

Heaven Scent Coffee Shop menus

Still going strong
“I used to live in this charming, friendly village and was glad to see that Heaven Scent was still going strong. Our coffee and ciabatta lunch with terrific pesto was so filling that we decided to take the carrot cake home – it was epic!”
